File Picker

(version 1.1.2, 18th Dec 2010)

Insert any filetype, with defined templates, with or without an image of the filetype, in your content! You can select files on the server, upload and insert them to your editor. Change and use templates for the structure of the link. Change images for every file type, set legal file extensions for the viewing, uploading, switch off uploading or disable File Picker individual for every user group. Befor inserting the link you will see a preview.

Installation of File Picker

Automatic installation and updater

This extension automatically installes and updates all components, modules and plugins of this extension. That means that you do not have to uninstall the old version before installing the new version or unzip and install manually. Even the activation of the plug-in is automatic.

Update checker

Within this package, there is a plug-in called "Webconstruction Manager" which checkes for updates of installed products of Webconstruction.ch. A pop-up will appear if updates exists. If you do not want message of updates to appear, you can disable the "Update Manager - Webconstruction.ch"-plug-in in the plug-in Manager. This plug-in uses remote urls to check for version information. This requires the php setting 'allow_url_fopen' to be turned on.

What JCE version are you using? If it's JCE 1.5.4 you should update your JCE.
