I have placed it on to the site to allow a flash news feed. It doesn't not show on firefox and on IE it appears half way down the page

I cannot seem to get it to appear in a uniform manner
any help would be great

It must be some kind of CSS problem or you have the wrong dimensions set by width and height. Don't use px after the width definition, only the number of px (e.g. 200 for 200 Pixels) or % e.g. (100%). Try using CSS clear if you floated some html elements above the flash embedding. Like style="clear:both" in a br tag, befor the SWFContent. Hope this helps.

Hey Milton,

I installed the latest module but if I enabled the module and get my swf file running in the website, somehow my website template started to randomly broken and misplaced. How to fix this thanks.

Try using the new version (3.2.3), it's now really XHML valid.

I'm now working very hard on SWFContent Pro version 3.2.3 Beta. In this version lots of bugs are getting fixed. Especially for IE7 and IE8. I have added a new System Plugin, which renders components if needed. This Plugin also hides SWF-Tags in Feed- and PDF-Views. I'm going to release 3.2.3 Beta next week.

I guess this is a CSS problem, maybe write down the link of your website so I can have a look what the problem is.

...

Please open a thread in the support-forum for this problem. There you can add the HTML-Code it's outputing, so I can look where the problem could be. But please be patient, I'm till the 5th of July on holidays.

I'm sure you tried relative path aswell. That didn't work either?

I have it installed - it just isn't working.

I am getting the "get adobe" icon, but no Flash movie. I am directing it to an absolute URL that I can see in a browser when I type it in the address bar.

I'm out of ideas. Please help.

Have you installed the (newest) Flashplayer on your System? Check the DFV (Detect Flash Version) Setting, that could be higher than you installed flash version.

My system was updated with the latest software, yes (my company is a creative services firm and we do a lot of work on the web, including Flash, so we keep it all updated). In spite of this I installed again from the link. No change.

I am uploading a .swf file that I have published in Flash. I want to be able to have the contoller viewed also. When upload both swfs, I get two separate movies. How do I link them? So I have the controller working for that swf?

What do you mean by controller? If you are looking for the support of SWFAdresse. This feature will only be supported in the next version of SWFContent Pro.
