Joomla, SSP, SWFContent; refresh required 1 Year, 6 Months ago

Hi,
I have installed SWFContent, use an Artisteer generated and partly hand edited template, which works fine, and embedded a .swf with SSP (SlideShowPro) in order to display a slideshow, plus some photo albums. This all seems to work quite well, with one exception.
Often I have to refresh the page in order to see the flash content, as it comes up as a white area, without content, normally the first time it is accessed.
This doesn't happen if I embed it manually in the Artisteer generated .html page, but there I fixed this problem by adding the Flash generated javascript to the Artisteer script. This enhanced script I also added to the template, but it doesn't seem to make a lot of difference.
Is there a remedy for this behaviour, and if so, what is it?
TIA, kindest regards, Wim
