There seems to be a problem with joomla and the swfobject javascript in IE5 and IE6. All other browsers are fine. The web pages won't load and you get a "operation Aborted" message and then "page cannot be displayed." If the javascript is removed then it will work. Or if you try this outside of joomla it works. There is something wrong with Joomla and this javascript with IE5 and IE6. Do you know a way to fix this with joomla?

I will test this. Perhaps you could add a link.

I did testing and I found out, that it occurs when SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is switched on. I haven't found a way to fix it. But in the next version I will make the code check if the browser is IE5 or IE6 and then change the rendering code that it works.

This bug will be fixed in version 3.1.0 which I'm working on and should be released this or next week.

Here's a patch for 3.0.x, in which the IE6 bug is fixed.

UNZIP the attachment file, then copy the files to /plugins/content/
